Ultimate rom challenge

Everyone who has been consistently watching my videos knows that I started this thing called the ultimate rom challenge when I first started doing GS3 rom reviews.  I basically was going to flash as many roms as possible on my GS3 record my impressions on each one and then tell you guys which one I though was best for different situations.  I have over 17 gs3 rom reviews on my channel and I've also flashed roms that I never made a video so I got a pretty good idea of what constitutes a good rom and one that is average.  Also when I say average in no way am I knocking on any devs, they do work that 99% of people can't but on a comparison standpoint some roms are just a bit less feature rich than others and for people that decide to take the plunge and root their android device and flash that warantee voiding rom we really want the added experience to be worth all that risk.  Now back to my previous point, what constitutes a good rom?  Why do you even flash roms in the first place?  Is it just a lack of satisfaction with what we have or is a unhealthy habit that is impossible to kick?  If you really think about it flashing a rom is an extremely destructive process.  You need to redownload all your applications, reformat all your home screens and loose things like text messages that you can never get back without backing them up before hand.  All extra work that is just more time fiddling with our phones getting nothing done.  I flash roms because I like progression and growth.  It gives me great satisfaction to see my phone to grow over time and become more proficient with it's abilities.  Also sometimes change is a good thing which can rectify a lot of annoyances that you may have with your device.

Ok now lets talk about roms that I think are top of class for the GS3.  These are all for the international  varient GT-I9300 so don't go flashing these on your north american GS3's.

Cyanogenmod 10.1: Team hacksung does a really good job in porting over unadulterated android to our beloved gs3s.  They allow us to have features like photo sphere and lock screen widgets which than trick down to other AOKP roms allowing them to create their own content.

UltimaROM: Ultimarom is easily one of my favourite roms for the gs3.  It is performance oriented and has features that other roms wish they had.  It has the most complete aroma installer I've ever seen allowing you to build it up exactly as you want.  Also with multiple kernel support and modem support  radio strength, battery and stability is always top notch.

Android Revolution HD:  If you're looking to keep the body the same but improve under the hood than this rom is for you.  With basically no visual changes it looks and feels the same but under the hood it is optimized and improved in every which way possible.

From now on, every time I do a rom review on my channel I'll post any interesting findings here.

Thanks for reading and have a great day.
